nr Appin, north of Oban. looking towards the rugged , unpopulated landscape of Ardgour. Great colours at the end of a great day. I'm in two minds about this shot. The weather was glorious and scenery amazing, and the photograph reflects this well. On the other hand, there is no composition: I suppose I could re-crop it to lose some sky and present it as a series of four roughly equal bands of colour. Would this improve it? I suspect not. I wouldn't hang it on my wall. Does that mean I shouldn't try to photograph a scene like this? Posted by Picasa
